Our History.
Coastal Coaches is owned
by Partners, Bill and
Helen Holder. We have
been operating High
Class Mini Midi
Executive Coaches from
our bespoke premises in
the Fylde area since
2000.
Our Fleet.

Our Mercedes
Benz powered fleet
currently
consists of 9
coaches and 3
buses. The
average
age of our fleet
is just 13
months (at May
09) - one of the
youngest fleets
in the North
West!
We operate
Environmentally
Friendly Euro 3, 4
& 5 engines and
offer a choice
of 16, 18, 29,
33, 41, & 49
seat coaches.
All of the
vehicles are
safety checked
in house every
4-6 weeks
depending on
mileage
by our own VOSA trained
staff. Where
required other
servicing is
carried out by our
local
Mercedes Benz
Accredited Commercial
Dealer. |

What we can offer you.
We operate across the UK
and cater for all
clients - from Private
Parties all the way to
Corporate groups and
specialising is small
group travel.
All
our staff wear full
uniform, are CRB checked
and are both
professional and
courteous. They are
fully briefed on Health
and Safety requirements
and are issued with
handbooks which are
continually updated. Our
driving staff are issued
with a mobile telephone
for use in an emergency
which allows constant
communication with our
Operations Centre and
emergency support staff
who are on call 24 hours
a day.
Our
commitment has not gone
un-noticed. We were
honoured to win the
RouteOne trade magazine
award in 2007 - the
third year running for
“Best Operator for 1 to
10 vehicles”.
In 2008 we were
shortlisted for this
prestigious award. This
award emphasises our
commitment to supplying
our customers - you -
with a quality and value
for money service.
In
2009 we were awarded
Coach Marque,
the only universally
recognised kite mark of
quality in the UK Coach
Industry. All Coach
Marque members are
independently audited to
prove that they comply
with the required
standard.
Currently there are only
39 operators who have
been awarded Coach
Marque.
Coastal Coaches is
the only operator in
this area to have
achieved this
prestigious award.
Taking transport one
step further.

We
constantly train
our drivers
in-house to
enhance their
skills and
therefore the
standard of
service that
they give you,
our customer. |
All
our drivers are training
for (or have completed)
their NVQ 2 in Passenger
Transport. Once
completed, our drivers
are at least two thirds
of the way towards the
new Drivers Certificate
in Professional
Competence - a
qualification that all
PCV Drivers are required
to have passed by
September 2013.
With
our drivers gaining this
qualification early, we
feel that it will
enhance your travelling
experience with Coastal
Coaches still further.
